A quiet office. A surgically trained team.
Devices most of Fairfield County has never had access to.

Lumiere Laser Med Spa was built for a specific kind of patient: someone who has tried the popular treatments, read the research, and wants the version of aesthetic medicine that hospitals trust rather than the version sold at the mall. We are a medical office first. Every provider on staff has a clinical background that predates their aesthetic one, and every device in our treatment rooms was chosen because it is the one specialists actually recommend, not the one with the biggest marketing budget.

We currently offer two technologies that no other practice in the area carries, Thermage and Potenza. Both are explained in full below, because we would rather you understand what you are paying for than take our word for it.

Our philosophy

Most med spas open near traffic.
We opened inside a medical office.

That was deliberate. Aesthetic medicine has a trust problem, and it is usually earned. Injectors with weekend certifications. Devices bought because they were cheap, not because they worked. Consultations that feel like sales calls. We built Lumiere to be the answer to that, which meant starting with the team rather than the storefront.

Our medical director came from emergency medicine, board certified, twenty years of clinical judgment before he ever touched an aesthetic device. Our physician assistants trained in surgical residencies and hospital emergency departments before specializing in skin. When you sit in our chair, the person across from you has already made harder calls than whether your filler should sit half a syringe higher.

The result is a practice that looks unassuming from the outside and performs like the ones you’d expect to find on Fifth Avenue. We are comfortable with that trade.

Meet the team

Clinical careers first, aesthetics second

Seth Dinowitz, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Dinowitz is board certified in emergency medicine and has spent nearly three decades in clinical leadership, including positions with the Ocean Care Center within the Hackensack Meridian Health system, Urgent Care Now, and EmCare. He earned his MD from SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine and completed his residency in emergency medicine at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Since 2005 he has also run his own aesthetic and skincare practice. He holds an active Connecticut medical license and is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

What that means for you: every protocol at Lumiere has been reviewed by a physician whose entire career has been built on knowing when something is safe and when it isn’t.

Spencer Deros, MSPAS, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Spencer is a board-certified Physician Assistant who came to aesthetics through surgery, not around it. He trained through the Norwalk Hospital and Yale New Haven Health PA Surgical Residency, working across general, vascular, orthopedic, and plastic surgery, along with critical care in the MICU and SICU. That surgical foundation shows up in how he treats faces, an anatomist’s read on structure, applied to neuromodulators, dermal fillers, biostimulatory injectables, microneedling with and without radiofrequency, chemical peels, and medical-grade skincare.

Patients describe his approach as unhurried. He treats a consultation as planning, not upselling, and he’d rather talk you out of something that won’t suit you than talk you into it.

Kristyn Neroda, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Kristyn is an NCCPA board-certified Physician Assistant who has spent her career in emergency, urgent care, and internal medicine, including ongoing clinical work at Montefiore Medical Center since 2019. Her procedural background includes ultrasound-guided IV placement, point-of-care ultrasound, complex wound management, and acute care procedures most aesthetic providers never learn. She holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Mercy College and a B.S. in Biology from SUNY Oneonta, and is licensed in both New York and Connecticut.

She has also volunteered on medical missions to the Dominican Republic, which is the kind of detail that tells you more about a provider’s hands than any credential does.

Signature technology

Why Thermage FLX and Potenza

We were selective about our two flagship devices for one reason: almost everything else on the market locally is a step behind. Most nearby practices are still working with older-generation radiofrequency and microneedling systems. Thermage and Potenza represent a different tier of technology, and they are currently exclusive to Lumiere in this area.

Radiofrequency
No real downtime

Thermage FLX

Thermage uses radiofrequency energy to heat the deeper layers of the skin, encouraging the body’s own collagen to tighten and remodel over time. There’s no cutting, no injecting, and typically no real downtime, which is part of why it has become a standard offering in surgical practices that want a non-invasive option worth recommending.

RF Microneedling

Korean-engineered

Potenza

Potenza is a Korean-engineered radiofrequency microneedling system, and it’s the one detail our patients ask about most once they’ve read into the K-beauty devices dermatologists overseas have used for years. It combines microneedling with both monopolar and bipolar radiofrequency, which allows the energy to be delivered at different depths depending on what the skin actually needs. Compared to older devices like Morpheus8, patients generally report less discomfort during treatment and a more targeted result.

Each protocol below is delivered as a series, because remodeling happens gradually and the results compound over the course of treatment rather than in a single visit.
